For pricing. or to schedule a class for Adults or Children, or to schedule a Personal Training session please contact Germaine - germaine@newebmail.com All participants must pre-register and pay in advance for a full session.  Classes are filled on a first come first served basis and space is limited.    There are no refunds once payment has been issued (this includes missed or sick days)

 

Germaine has been certified and teaching exercise since 1994. Her experience enables her to successfully teach to a wide variety of fitness levels. While encouraging participants to challenge themselves her main focus is on Safety through proper body form and execution.

Germaine is a certified instructor in Zumba,  Aerobics, Step, Kick Box, PowerFlex, Strength Training with Bar Bells, Muscle Condition, Ball, Coreboard, Circuit Training, Stretch and Sculpt, Seniors aerobics, stretch & strength training, Children’s Body Movement, Learn to Dance, Personal Training, Small Group Personal Training

EFFECTIVE AND MOTIVATIONAL atmosphere

 

 

Weights and light Aerobics - Mondays
time- 9:30 to 10:30am

THIS STRENGTH TRAINING CLASS WILL CHANGE YOUR BODY.

Class will start with very simple cardio warm-up and stretch. Followed by anaerobic group exercises specifically designed to work ALL the major muscle groups of your body, using weights working to a specific beat of music.  Class will end with full body stretching and relaxation breathing.

The entire class is very easy to follow.
dates- Mondays - ongoing

what to bring- an hand held weights, water to drink.  Dress in layers, and wear aerobic sneakers with good support.
cost- $20.00 for all 4 classes pre-paid,

or $7.00 per class

Aerobics and Core Strength – Thursdays
time- 9:30 to 10:30am

The first half of class will consist of very simple aerobic moves to get a cardio workout.. The second half of class we will exercise with the BALL, to improve core stability, balance, flexibility and strength. Class will end with relaxation breathing.

ZUMBA

 Dance your way to a fitter you!!!  Zumba combines the unique dance moves of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggatone, Rock & Roll, Belly Dance, and more into an exercise class. The emphasis is on FUN!!!!   Whether you have never exercised before, or in top fitness you will love this class! Participants are encouraged to stay at their own fitness level.

 

 

LOW IMPACT AEROBICS PROGRAM

The Cumberland Recreation Department is offering the following low impact high intensity aerobics program during the winter 2009:

SCHEDULE:     Fall & Winter - Classes will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Cumberland Hill School gymnasium.                                                                              

                             - Time Offered: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m

INSTRUCTORS:             Germaine Krobath and Angela Ackley

COST:                         $60.00 Cumberland Residents $70.00 Non Residents

                                    Checks payable to: Cumberland Recreation Department.

REGISTRATION: Office hours are 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.  Registrations are taken

On first come, first served basis and preference is given to Cumberland residents.

Just Dance!!!!

for Adults and/or Children

This is a FUN class.    You will learn a variety of basic aerobic steps and dance moves while moving to the various beats of all sorts of music.  Germaine will teach you how to exercise safely; the importance of stretching; the incredible benefits of exercise.  This is an active class, sure to work up a sweat, and you will have fun!!!    So get away from the TV and computers and let’s get moving!

Did I already mention that we would have fun????

All participants are to

- bring a water bottle to class

- Dress in layered, comfortable clothing

        - Wear sneakers with support.

-May bring music  (appropriate for all ages)

Aerobics/Kickbox

This class will start with a low impact aerobic warm-up.  Then participants will learn basic kickbox moves and proper form.   You will have the option of staying with the aerobics moves, or adding the intensity of kickbox.  This class will accommodate your needs whether you are just starting an exercise program, or in top fitness.
